The Trump International Beach Resort is currently looking for a Catering Sales Manager with a focus on social events.

The Catering Sales Manager coordinates all arrangement and details for clients' meetings and functions.

SUMMARY OF JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Meet or exceed budgeted revenues through solicitation of business while controlling expenditures. Directs, implements, and maintains a management philosophy which serves as a guide to Banquet staff. This position's internal key relationships are all F&B staff, Receiving and Purchasing staff, Front Desk, Accounting, Kitchen, Stewarding, Housekeeping, Engineering, Security, and Executive Offices. The external key relationships are all hotel guests and visitors, clients, trade show and exposition set-up personnel and suppliers.

    Skills / Requirements

    *Knowledge of staffing guidelines/requirements to set-up, turn and break-down function spaces.
    *Familiarize with food and beverage cost control and menus.
    *Familiarize and learn room capacities.
    *Knowledge of organizing all information for and producing of B.E.O.'s.
    *Knowledge of daily scheduled group functions, times, locations, amount of people and specified requirements, meetings and banquet rooms, etc.
    *Monitors storage and delivery of group packages ensuring that all procedures are met.
    *Works very closely with the Sales Department.
    *Actively solicits and book business following hotel standards.
    *Interacts with the Executive Chef to plan special requests for clients and special event menus.
    *Attends weekly BEO review meetings, resolve any discrepancies.
    *Keeps abreast of current market trends and research competitions.

    Three years of experience in a similar position, preferable in a 4 or 5 star hotels. Working knowledge of beverage and wines. Computer skills. Excellent communication skills.
