ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Engage with all internal and external guests continuously enlivening and surpassing hotel service standards by setting the bench mark of guest service. Acting as an ambassador of the hotel by providing a confident and knowledgeable presence in and not limited to the Lobby and public areas of the hotel. Manages and directs all special guest requests, occasions, and or issues.
Includes the following; other duties may be assigned:

* Greet all guests as they enter and leave and or are waiting on line in the lobby.
* Manage the fruit and welcome drink amenity located in the lobby.
* Be knowledgeable and approachable to answer questions about the hotel and the surrounding area.
* Coordinate with Concierge the arrival of applicable guest.
* Assist Staff with language and culture; at times translations.
* Assist all departments in being receptive to the needs of guest.
* Enter guest request and complaints into HOTSOS.
* Provide pertinent guest information to respective departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
* Continuously Manage Guest Relations email
* Process resumes and all necessary departmental
* Handle guest complaints in a polite, professional, and timely manner.
* Assist front office team with their job functions to ensure optimum service to guest.
* Perform quality control for all arriving VIP rooms.
* Obtain vast knowledge of our PMS System & Hotel Optimization System
* Respond to negative correspondence and feedback as well as positive.
* Act as the hotel‚s lobby ambassador
* Other duties as assigned

Skills / Requirements

Education and/or Experience
* High School Diploma or general education degree (GED).
* 2 to 4 years experience and or training in Front Office operations or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills
* Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals.
* Ability to speak effectively before guest or employees of the hotel.
Reasoning Ability
* Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situation where only limited standardization exists.
Other Skills and Abilities
* Computer skills required.
* Knowledge of a foreign language is preferred.
