Responsibilities include the design and development of all advertising and collateral items, execution of promotions and special events and coordinator of social media, press releases/research, and database management.
Job Responsibilities:
* Coordinates,plans, develops and implements short and long-term marketing goals. Ensures all marketing goals/objectives are met
* Creates and executes marketing programs and/or sales support activities to increase awareness and generate demand
* Develops and designs all promotional sales collateral and materials
* Coordinates special events
* Maintains and improves upon the company‚s website content and social media presence; tracks web prospects and distributes reports
* Maintains, updates and expands list of media contacts
* Assists with creation of promotions and public relations activities. Tracks press releases; incorporates information into social media activities
* Utilizes media calendars to identify opportunities for press and article placement
* Maintains and develops strong working relationships with business partners, trade organizations and media

Skills / Requirements

SKILLS & ABILITIES
* Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, are required
* Ability to think "outside-the-box" and present ideas which will contribute to the success of marketing programs
* Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize projects on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
* Strong knowledge of marketing and design software, including In-design or Photoshop, Illustrator
* Strong experience with social media tools including Twitter, Facebook, Linked-in, etc.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Bachelor‚s degree in marketing, advertising or other related field required
* Working knowledge of accepted marketing principles
* 3-5 years relevant marketing experience
